Purford Green were invited to join other primary schools in Harlow to watch the end of the Essex stage of Tour of Britain. They set off from school and cycled to meet other primary schools at the Harlow Rugby Club. All primaries then cycled to the finish line by The Water Gardens where they had the opportunity to cycle through the finish line before watching the end of the race. All pupils enjoyed watching the race and were loudly cheering on the British competitor!
