Purford Green School

Nursery

Does a warm, friendly and inspiring nursery team, led by our Early Literacy Lead teacher sound ideal for your child?
How about a purpose built building with a beautiful outdoor area for exploring?
Then our nursery might be the perfect place for your child to start their journey with us!

We pride ourselves in a child-centred approach. We have a strong ethos that places a key emphasis on each individual’s wellbeing and good mental health. Our nursery and main school share a dedicated approach to wellbeing, mindfulness sessions, sports and exercise and work with parents and carers in partnership.

We are currently accepting children that are aged three or four to join our amazing nursery and become part of our Purford Green family. We will give your child an amazing start to school through high-quality planning and resourcing. Our nursery works closely with the reception team to ensure consistency across the early years phase and will base all planning on what the children’s interests are. We have a brilliant nursery team that is staffed with a highly qualified nursery leader and 3 fully qualified LSAs.

We accept both 30 hours and 15 hours funding. The lunch hour comes at a cost of £3 per session.

We work with an external provider to offer holiday time care for your child, with Hang Out Club running sessions for those aged four and above in the school during the school holidays. You can register your interest directly with them.

If you would like to register for a place at Purford Green Nursery, please complete the application by clicking here. Once you have submitted your application, we will be in touch to confirm details and send you more information about your child’s start with us.

We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming your family to ours!
